Help wanted The ultimate grilling, beer-drinking BBQ dadHelp wanted The ultimate grilling, beer-drinking BBQ dadFathers Day weekend is coming up, and its already been the source of one of our favorite job listings.A pack of twenty-somethings in Spokane, Washington is looking for the perfect BBQ Dad to serve up grilled goodies and knock back beers on June 17- Fathers Day weekend.College student Dane Anderson, speaking of the Craigslist ad he posted seeking a Generic Father for Backyard BBQ for himself and his roommates, told KHQabout the decision to launch a search for the perfect father figure.Duties Bring your own grill, discuss lawnmowers and other dad things, and use nicknames for everyone there.We just thought it would be a little better because we dont really live with our fathers, Anderson told the media outlet.Even though the job is unpaid, the qualifications are very specific. It looks like not just anyone can play BBQ Dad from 4pm to around 8pm that day.The posting says tha t you musthave been a fatherfor at least 18 years, have an appreciation of a nice, cold beer on a hot summer day and must have been grilling for at least 10 years.The faux-dad has to cook up some food on his own grill namely, classic barbecuefare hotdogs and hamburgers, whilst drinking beer. Doug Sherman is from Toronto and is a chief executive of a pharmacy. He has two daughters and is married. Anderson found Shermans photoon thelittlehoneybee.com and decided to include it in the Craigslist post.Sherman says hes racked up about 55 years of grilling experience, but the competition is tough More than 70 candidates have reportedly applied.So will he do it?If nobody does come out there, Id be happy to Skype with you and walk you through the drill, Sherman told Anderson and his friends during a FaceTime session.
